Home Management Folder

A  Home Management Folder - Do you have one?

If so I am sure you will be able to sing praises of the efficiency that it provides for you.  If not, you may be asking what is a home management folder? or " do I have time to make a home management folder?"
A home management folder is just 1 "go to" place for all things paper and schedule. Important numbers, baby sitter notes.. ect..
There are many great examples out there of hmfs , but Kelly at Imperfect homemaking has a very affordable (practically free) way of making one!

I began the process of making one! This was my day one process into my simplicity journey. Since we just Talked about a plan yesterday.. that was my plan.. get all of my lists in one spot.

First I started with a wonderful resource of FREE printable sheets from Kelly at Imperfect homemaking  ... Thanks Kelly!

First I started with this pretty weekly schedule (loved the layout!)... pic borrowed from Kelly
Last night, I planned our menu for the week.. with a planned leftover night.
Every night this week, I will be planning the next day.. making notes of what I need to do ...

Daily schedule sheet

Next was a menu planning page with a grocery list beside it! This was awesome!! Big enough to see everything laid out, and make my grocery list at the same time!! Yeah!

I have linked everything over to Kelly so, head on over there and print away!! :)  I am going to close with one of my favorite composers quotations..

"Simplicity is the highest goal, achievable when you have overcome all difficulties. After one has played a vast quantity of notes and more notes, it is simplicity that emerges as the crowning reward of art."
                                                                                  Fredric Chopin
